Boyhood actress Lorelei Linklater was placed on deferred probation last week in Waco after she pleaded guilty in April to a cocaine possession charge.
The actress, 24, was arrested last May after she was involved in a wreck on Interstate 35.
The trooper who arrested Linklater said she "had a blank look on her face" and couldn't remember which lane she was driving in, according to an affidavit obtained by the Waco Tribune-Herald.
She also said she had been taking medication for depression, court records show.
After a field sobriety test, Linklater was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The trooper found pills and a bag of cocaine in her purse.
She was later charged with possession of less than 1 gram of cocaine.
As part of her guilty plea last month, Linklater's DWI charge was dropped. She was placed on deferred probation for three years and was fined $1,000.
The actress is most known for her role in 2014's Boyhood, in which she played the main character's sister. Her father, Richard Linklater, directed the movie, as well as others such as Dazed and Confused and School of Rock.
